So that's basically my life nowadays - work, work, work. But it's not all boring work.
Honestly, I could say that my work is super challenging and interesting, not those behind the table/counter/cashier work where you type numbers into the machine. No, I'm a sales executive for iZZi Wireless Broadband. That means going around KL, meeting with various kinds of people of different roots and races.
Here's a summary of some people I've met. For obvious reasons, I'm not going to mention any names.
An Australian guy who migrated to Malaysia. He's 6'4" tall and turns out to be the coach for the Malaysian swim team! Hard to understand what he is saying with his thick Aussie accent though.
An Indian (the nationality, not the race) family man who is the regional manager of ABB. Regional means the whole South Asia! Very friendly guy.... with a thick Indian accent.
A rich Chinese (the race, not the nationality) guy who owns SEVERAL companies. We had a good chat about business, economics and how to make money. This guy started earning RM3000+ when he was 18 (and that was in the early 90s, so thats like RM4000+ now), started dealing with stocks when he was 20 and started his first company around then too. Wow. My inspiration.
Then I met a whole bunch of friendly graduates from The One Academy. Hehe. I actually have not met them before this yet we are able to laugh and joke on the phone when I called them.
Anyway, now I'm dealing with hotels and banks! Yes, big projects. And I'm broke because the job only pays during the end of the month. Sigh. So yes, back to work. Ciao!
